1 - The Call to Action: The Reset

Effective immediately, we are resetting the "business." We are letting go of the bad habits of the survival years. We are going back to the basics of why we love this industry: the energy, the people, and the pride of a job done exceptionally well.

We aren't just "keeping the doors open" anymore. We are building a place where people want to be.

How to use this:

  • Leadership Reset Session: Before speaking to the wider team, get your management group in a room. Phones away. No ops updates. Ask one question: “What habits did we accept in survival mode that we no longer want running this business?”

  • The One-on-Ones: Use this as a framework to talk to your managers. Ask them: "Which of these 'bad habits' are you personally ready to let go of?"

  • The "Town Hall": Call a meeting with all staff. Read this "The Reset" (or a version of it) aloud to signal the change in direction.

  • Recruitment: Put the "Core Premise" section at the top of your job adverts to stand out from the "we are desperate" ads of your competitors.
